Policies

At Skin Balance it is my duty to ensure you have the best experience possible and that you leave relaxed and pampered.
As a valuable customer I hope you understand the need to put policies in place for such circumstances.
Please take a moment to read our policies and understand the business procedures.

Booking Confirmation
When the appointment is booked in, a email confirmation is sent using the details provided by the client with appointment time, treatment and date.
Additional to this a reminder email is sent 48 hours prior to the treatment.

Arrival Protocol
Skin Balance requires clients to arrive promptly on time to their services. There is ample parking free parking outside.

Late Arrival
Failure to arrive on time may lead to the treatment being altered to suit the amount of time remaining to the treatment.
Arriving more than 15 minutes late for an appointment may lead to a cancellation. In which case an invoice for the remaining amount of the treatment cost will be sent to the appropriate email address.

Cancellations & Rescheduling
When appointments are missed or cancelled without sufficient notice it can be hard to fill the vacancy and offer availability to another client
Skin Balance request at least 48 hours notice from the time of your appointment. Cancellations and reschedules after 48 hour time frame will result in a charge of 50% of the treatment.
If you no longer require part of your booking please also cancel this with at least 48 hours notice, otherwise 50% of that treatment will be charged as it has been blocked out.
For all new clients a deposit will be required for the appointment which will then be taken off your treatment on the day. If less then 48 hours is given, we reserve the right to keep the booking fee to cover the cost of the appointment.

Failure to attend
Should you fail to attend your appointment with no notice, Skin Balance will record this as a no show which will lead to the full amount of the treatment charged at full price. No shows can add up to missed hours of work when built up over time.

Consultation Forms
Consultation forms are required to be filled out with all correct and up to date information. Without this the treatment cannot go ahead. The consultation form will be on the confirmation link in the email.

Patch tests
Certain treatments cannot go ahead without an appropriate patch test. This is with regards to insurance requirements and ensure that there are no sensitivities or allergic reactions. A patch test is required at least 48 hours prior to the treatment.
