I try to make my facials as transparent as possible but if facials are a new concept for you or you have been overwhelmed in the past. This space is here to gently guide you, answer your questions, and help you feel completely at ease before stepping into the treatment room for Bespoke Facials, Harmony Facials and Microneedling.
Bespoke Facials
Q What is the difference between a Bespoke Facial and those that are from the Harmony range?
A The bespoke facials are for those that maybe need to seek more driven results or you have specific skin concerns. The Bespoke facials will involve high grade technology and treatments to help restore the skin as well as offering ultimate relaxation. The Bespoke Facial is totally designed around you. The Harmony range is more for resetting the nervous system, for those that want to have the full relaxation experience without any sensory overload, its a time to be still, to let go and to help realign your skin and soul.
Q I have sensitive or reactive skin — will this be safe?
A Yes, always. Many of my clients come to me because their skin feels delicate, reactive, or easily overwhelmed.
Everything used within your treatment is carefully selected to support, soothe, and strengthen your skin barrier — never to push it beyond its limits.
Q What results can I expect?
A You’ll likely notice your skin feeling calmer, softer, and visibly more radiant after your treatment.
But beyond the immediate glow, our focus is on long-term skin health — strengthening your skin, improving resilience, and helping you feel more confident and at ease in your own skin over time.
Q How many treatments will I need?
A This is completely personal to you. Some clients come for regular moments of maintenance and relaxation, while others choose a more supportive journey to work through specific concerns.
We’ll always keep things simple, realistic, and aligned with what feels right for you.
Q Will I need to change all of my skincare?
A Not necessarily but I will recommend products. I choose to work with Prologic because they truly believe in protecting the skin barrier and unlike vast majority of skincare they omit, unnecessary additives, fragrances, silicones and preservatives. To get the most out of your treatments and to help progress your results, homecare is majority of what will help. If I recommend anything, it will be thoughtful, minimal, and tailored to your lifestyle. There is never any pressure — only gentle guidance to support your skin in a way that feels manageable and aligned.
The Harmony Facial Range
Q How is this Facial different?
A My Harmony Facials work very differently to most facials. This facial focuses on your nervous system first and your skin second. When we stop, let go and release, this is when facial tension releases, our circulation can improve and our mind can rest. The treatment starts with a soothing welcome touch to the feet and breathwork. I slowly integrate lymphatic massage, which can become stagnate when we are stressed. Focusing on neck and shoulder tension areas, then slowly working up to the face and the scalp, massage helps to revive the skin and the soul, leaving you feeling a lot lighter when you leave. At the end of the treatment we focus back on breathwork to help you come round.
Q I just want to be pampered is this facial right for me?
A Yes! the key difference between the harmony facials and the bespoke facials, is that I reduce the sensory overload, other than cleansing at the start it is pure massage. I want you to let go as much as possible, so I dont want you to feel overwhelmed with various techniques.
Q I dont really know what my skin needs is this a problem?
A No not at all, sometimes the best thing we can give our skin is time to relax and feel cared for. This facial is open to all skin types, as I can adapt the facial around you.
Q Do I need to do anything after?
A No, this is the tricky part. This is the key bit of advice I give, is to go home and not do anything. Keep yourself hydrated, avoid screen time for a good hour or so after to ensure your not undoing all the benefits that have been done in the treatment room. Avoid anything that involves you having to rush about to help keep your nervous system in that state of calm. Eat a good nourishing meal and just prioritise rest.
Q I don’t know which timing option to choose?
A The 30 minutes is a good introduction to the facials, so if your not sure what it provides this is a good taster.
The 60 minutes deepens your relaxation, the foot welcome touch is included, if i feel you need it I introduce a crystal into the facial and there is more time to spent unwinding.
The 90 minutes is pure bliss, everything from the 60 minutes but I also include LED light therapy for therapeutic advances and a more tension releasing scalp massage as well as an arm and hand massage.
Microneedling
Q What does Microneedling do?
Microneedling helps to increase the production of collagen without damaging the skin, making it perfect if you have concerns about fine lines and wrinkles by helping to tighten and thicken the skin. If you feel pores are a concern they can help to reduce in size and also leaves your skin feeling brighter and more hydrated. It is also good for reducing the appearance of scars, it can breakdown pigmentation, whether thats from the sun or from acne scarring as well as giving overall benefits to skin health.
Q Do I need a skin consultation beforehand?
Yes, its very important that your skin is in a good position to start with before microneedling, I dont offer microneedling to everyone. Before microneedling it is advised to have a really good skincare routine at home, suitable for strengthening the skin and improving results and also to have a few bespoke facials, depending on your skin concern. This will be discussed in your skin consultation.
Q How many sessions will I need?
This will depend on your skin, some I may say 3 sessions others maybe more 6 sessions. With a top up every 6/9 months. 1 session will give you a nice glow afterwards, but for good results a course is recommneded.
Q How long does it take to see results?
A This will depend on the depth we needle at, the deeper we work at the longer it can take because we are working at a deeper level, that requires more work (please note that a lot of people do not need to the needle depth longer than 0.5mm) With microneedling you will see your skin looks more rejuvenated after 24 hours but the real work is still going on underneath and can be a few weeks after till you see more of a improvement. Results will vary depending on clients skin, homecare and concerns.
Q Does it hurt?
A Some areas can be more sensitive than others, like the forehead, mouth, and eye area. I always check in to see how you feel as we go along and will adjust accordingly to your preference. Depending on the skin concern the needle depth maybe a bit shorter/longer in areas. The feel of microneedling is very much like a vibration and does not feel like a actual needle.
Q How will I look afterwards?
A The skin will look flushed afterwards, which is what we want, it shows signs the skin has been stimulated and the circulation has been boosted in the face. There maybe signs of small pin prick blood spots if concentrated in that area but there is no need to see blood at all. This will calm down a few hours to the next day depending again on your skin and also the depth. I will give you full aftercare advice before and after the treatment.
Q What is the pre and aftercare advice?
A I will make sure I thoroughly go through this with you before and after. It is important that you follow the given advice for the optimal results and also to ensure that you do not disrupt the skin healing process. Your skin will be more sensitive for a while after the treatment so it is really important that you follow the advice given.
