How does it work?
Micro-needling is a non-invasive and non-surgical treatment that uses tiny needles that causes controlled micro wounds, which then trigger an anti-inflammatory response. When this happens collagen and elastin production is stimulated and gets under way to help repair skin tissue damage. There is very few treatments that help target collagen production as well as micro-needling.
By adding LED Light therapy it helps to reduce downtime of the treatment and also gives a better result by working with the cells within the skin.

Micro-needling can be great for fine lines, acne scarring, pigmentation, reduces pore size and for tired looking skin. The skin will instantly look brighter and as time goes on the real benefits kick in and the skin will tighten through the skin regenerating and repairing the more treatments you have the greater results. The results also from this treatment are long lasting with occasional top ups needed.

What does it involve
The micro-needle pen is gently circulated round the skin creating micro wounds. The skin goes through the same healing process as it would if you had an injury. The healing process helps to repair and regenerate and encourages collagen and elastin production. The pain can be minimal but may increase the longer the needle length.

Downtime
This can be approximately 24-48 hours post treatment where the skin can appear more flushed and a bit more sensitive, this will vary per client. The right homecare will help aid the healing process as well as gain the best results for the treatment.

Results
The skin will look glowing and feeling great after your 1st treatment, but it may take 4 – 6 weeks after the treatment to see a change with the skin. For longer lasting results a course of 3 – 6 treatments is recommended, this will vary depending on the individual and concerns.
